Deck overview

This deck is a four-color token-polymorph control strategy built around Jace, Multiverse Architect. The early game focuses on deploying efficient two-mana rocks and resilient token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller. Once four colors of mana are established, the deck casts Jace on Turn 4 and immediately activates his −3 loyalty ability. By sacrificing an expendable token, Jace cheats massive, game-warping threats directly from the library onto the battlefield, including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, and Archfiend of Despair. Mass polymorph effects like Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny provide explosive alternative lines by converting entire token swarms into dominant monster boards. Dense spot removal and sweepers maintain board control, while Jace's combat tax and protective instants like Flawless Maneuver shield the board until evasive combat damage closes out the game on Turn 7.
