Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai lands and graveyard midrange strategy commanded by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns, filling the graveyard through self-mill, and leveraging lands-matter payoffs to overwhelm opponents. In the opening turns, mana dorks and land-search spells establish a robust resource base. Teval, the Balanced Scale comes down quickly to convert attack triggers into land ramp, self-mill, and 2/2 Zombie tokens. As the graveyard fills with lands, powerful payoffs like Field of the Dead, Scute Swarm, and Titania, Protector of Argoth turn land drops into a lethal army. High-impact spells such as Splendid Reclamation and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods trigger explosive landfall bursts in a single turn. The deck can also lock opponents out of key colors using repeatable Strip Mine loops or close the game through life loss with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and Lord of Extinction.
