Deck overview

This competitive Izzet deck combines Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph with efficient pingers, one-sided damage sweepers, and Curiosity effects. Ghyrson triples any 1-damage source into 3 total damage, turning cheap spells like End the Festivities into one-sided board wipes that also draw full hands when paired with Curiosity. The primary win condition is the premier Underworld Breach combo alongside Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond, which mills out the table or burns opponents out on Turn 3. The deck accelerates using a dense suite of zero-cost mana artifacts and protects its critical turns with top-tier free countermagic such as Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat. As a backup win condition, Glint-Horn Buccaneer pairs with Curiosity to eliminate all three opponents during cleanup. High card velocity, asymmetric creature suppression, and low-cost interaction make the deck exceptionally fast, resilient, and disruptive.
