Deck overview

This Izzet deck is built around Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man, utilizing his front face for early card selection and transforming him into a formidable flying, hasty threat that cheats massive artifacts directly into play at the start of combat. Supported by an extensive roster of thematic Iron Man variants and artifact cost-reducers like Enthusiastic Mechanaut and Foundry Inspector, the deck ramps into a Turn 5 transformation. From there, it cheats devastating bombs including Blightsteel Colossus, Ultima Weapon, Krang, Utrom Warlord, and Genji Glove onto the battlefield, attaching equipment for free and dealing massive evasive damage. The strategy is bolstered by efficient countermagic such as Force of Will and Counterspell, board protection via Padeem, Consul of Innovation and Commander's Plate, and one-sided sweepers like Cyclonic Rift and Raise the Palisade to clear blocking paths and secure victory by Turn 8.
