Format: Commander

Commander: Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis is a group-hug value engine that turns the end-step draw and free land drop into landfall and token triggers. The primary plan is to build a Food/Clue/Treasure matrix with Academy Manufactor, Peregrin Took, Sam, and Nuka-Cola, then convert it into either a huge hasted token army or enough mana and card draw to cast Approach of the Second Sun twice. The commander is not part of any combo but supplies the cards and lands needed to get there; the closest hidden commander is Peregrin Took, since several cards exist mainly to feed its Food creation and sacrifice payoff. Secondary lines use Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl to go wide with token multipliers.
