Deck overview

This Temur deck blends explosive Group Hug resource acceleration with sudden Storm and creature swarm finishes. Led by Zagorka, Mother of Sanctum, the deck speeds up the entire table by deploying symmetric mana doublers such as Heartbeat of Spring and Mana Flare, alongside draw engines like Howling Mine and Rites of Flourishing. Zagorka disincentivizes attacks by granting opponents Sanctum land tokens that prevent them from attacking you. Once mana reaches critical mass on turn 4, the deck pivots into game-winning lines. It executes infinite mana loops using Storm-Kiln Artist and Reiterate paired with rituals, or floods the battlefield with tokens from Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, or Tempt with Vengeance granted haste by Mass Hysteria. While highly explosive, the deck gives opponents extra resources and lacks board wipes, requiring precise timing when attempting to close the game.
