Deck overview

Erebos, Bleak-Hearted is a mono-black attrition/aristocrats deck built around death triggers, recursion, and -1/-1 counters. Erebos provides repeatable card draw (2 life per death) and a sacrificial -2/-1 removal ability, making every token or Skeleton a resource. The primary finish is an infinite-mill loop: Altar of Dementia, Reassembling Skeleton, Pawn of Ulamog, and Pitiless Plunderer. Drain elements-Ayara, First of Locthwain, The Meathook Massacre, Gray Merchant of Asphodel-give secondary wins, and Living Death acts as a mass reanimation reset. Yawgmoth and Massacre Girl are lieutenants, not a hidden commander, pushing the wither/proliferate subtheme. The deck is durable but has almost no countermagic and one main combo line.
