If You Don't Win in Five Turns, Just Play Longer. by Valkarion

Format: Commander

Commander: Black Waltz No. 3

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Black Waltz No. 3 leads a Rakdos burn and storm deck centered on noncreature spell triggers. The primary strategy involves deploying damage-amplifying permanents like Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and the commander, then chaining cheap spells to drain all opponents simultaneously. The deck generates substantial mana using rituals, Storm-Kiln Artist, Birgi, God of Storytelling, and Mana Geyser. It closes games through explosive storm turns featuring Tendrils of Agony, Grapeshot, or massive mana sinks like Crackle with Power and Exsanguinate. Alternatively, resolving an overloaded Mizzixs Mastery recasts the entire graveyard to wipe out the table in a single flurry.
