Deck overview

Ghoulcaller Gisa commands a mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrats deck that converts creature power and life into massive token swarms. The strategy uses efficient black tutors, ritual acceleration, and synergistic Zombie lords to establish early board presence. Its most explosive line pairs Gisa with Wall of Blood, spending life to generate 30 or more 2/2 Zombie tokens in a single activation. The deck supports this aggressive token plan with potent draw engines like Skullclamp, Graveborn Muse, and Cryptbreaker to maintain card advantage. In addition to combat damage, the deck can close games through direct life drain with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Shepherd of Rot, and Bolas's Citadel. While the deck produces overwhelming board states, its reliance on a 5-mana commander without haste leaves it exposed to removal and board wipes.
