This Esper control deck is built around Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign, using top-of-library manipulation to cheat massive odd-cost spells directly into play. The deck establishes early mana velocity through two-mana artifact ramp, enabling a Turn 4 Yennett deployment. Tutors like Vampiric Tutor and Mystical Tutor, alongside repeatable setup engines like Scroll Rack, Sensei's Divining Top, and Brainstorm, ensure that Yennett reveals game-ending odd cards upon attacking on Turn 5. Key payoffs include asymmetric locks like Void Winnower and Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, creature suppression from Toxrill, the Corrosive, and heavy Eldrazi beaters like Pathrazer of Ulamog and Artisan of Kozilek. Backed by efficient instant-speed countermagic, targeted removal, and board wipes, the deck protects its board while snowballing overwhelming card advantage and board presence. Alternate cheat enablers like Marvo, Deep Operative and Vesuvan Drifter provide resilience if Yennett is removed, ensuring the deck steadily closes out games through combat damage.
