Squirrels Away V2 by user4994271

Format: Commander

Commander: Hazel of the Rootbloom

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari Squirrel tribal deck swarms the board with tokens and wins by turning a wide army lethal. Hazel of the Rootbloom is a mana engine and value doubler: she taps untapped tokens for mana and copies a token at each end step, making two copies if it is a Squirrel. The hidden commander is Chatterfang, Squirrel General, which doubles every token you create and converts Squirrels into removal. Primary wins are combat overruns with Beastmaster Ascension, Banner of Kinship, End-Raze Forerunners, or Preposterous Proportions, and incremental drain from Bastion of Remembrance, Mirkwood Bats, and Valley Rotcaller. Bloodroot Apothecary adds a secondary poison plan. The deck has no deterministic infinite combo with an outlet; it wins through exponential token doublers.
