Deck overview

An aggressive Rakdos Treasure engine built around Smaug, Wicked Worm, using opponents' artifacts and its own token generation to overproduce Treasure tokens. Smaug is both a mana and card-draw engine; playing spells with Treasure mana draws cards and loses life. The primary plan is to amass Treasures, then convert them through Hellkite Tyrant's twenty-artifact win, Crackle with Power burst, or a Mirkwood Bats/There and Back Again drain loop. The hidden commander is the saga There and Back Again, which creates a Smaug token and can triple through Academy Manufactor. Secondary paths are dragon combat with extra punches from Scourge of the Throne and Desert Were-Worm.
