Doctor Doom

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black artifact aristocrats deck uses Doctor Doom to generate Doombot bodies, draw cards, and grant indestructible while it grinds value. Its primary plan loops artifacts through sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar and Krark-Clan Ironworks to trigger Marionette Master and Marionette Apprentice drains, with Nim Deathmantle plus Wurmcoil Engine forming the main infinite death loop. Secondary paths win through combat with Doombots, Daleks, and Blightsteel Colossus or value from Portal to Phyrexia and Bolas's Citadel. Doom acts as a draw engine and token maker, not a combo piece. Marionette Master functions as the hidden commander that actually closes games.
