Deck overview

This is a Jund group-slug and mana-burn list helmed by Yurlok of Scorch Thrash. The plan is to flood the table with extra mana from flares such as Mana Flare, Heartbeat of Spring, and Overabundance, then punish both spending that mana (Manabarbs, Burning Earth) and leaving it unspent (Yurlok's life-loss clause, Citadel of Pain, Power Surge). Horizon Stone, Leyline Tyrant, and Omnath, Locus of Mana let you bank unused mana while opponents burn. The deck closes with X-spells (Exsanguinate, Banefire, Lavalanche) or simply grinds the table out under Sulfuric Vortex, Havoc Festival, and Spellshock. Yurlok is the signature payoff that turns group-hug mana into a weapon, but the 99 is still a coherent slug pile if he is removed. There are no infinite combos; wins come from attrition plus oversized burn.
