Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck is a controlling stax build focused on weaponizing stun counters and tap mechanics. By pairing enter-tapped stax pieces like Blind Obedience and Thalia, Heretic Cathar with single-target and mass stun spells, the deck locks opposing boards down indefinitely through Atraxa's proliferate ability and Fear of Sleep Paralysis. Card advantage engines such as Verity Circle and Insight Engine convert tapped opposing creatures and charge counters into massive card draw, while Archon of Emeria and Deafening Silence suppress opposing spell velocity. The deck establishes an oppressive creature lock by Turn 5-6 and finishes opponents through evasive combat damage from Atraxa and large artifact creatures, accelerated by direct burn from Mjölnir, Storm Hammer.
