Chief Warg Mike (duplicated from f1s4) by user8780285

Format: Commander

Commander: Chief of the Wilds

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Chief of the Wilds leads a Wolf tribal +1/+1 counters deck. The primary path is to flood the board with Wolf tokens, use Chief to double the triggered abilities of other Wolves and battles, and grow the commander into a lethal trampling threat. Secondary lines include finishing with Overwhelming Stampede, using Return of the Wildspeaker for draw or pump, and converting Siege battles such as Invasion of Zendikar and Invasion of Ikoria into extra lands or a tutored bomb. Anara, Wolvid Familiar is a Wolf/partner legend in the 99, but the deck is not built around it as a second commander; it mainly provides indestructible protection during combat. The deck is aggressive, board-focused, and has almost no stack interaction.
