Deck overview

This deck is a Simic midrange and synergy engine helmed by Elrond, Master of Healing. It translates every scry trigger into widespread +1/+1 counters across your creature board while punishing targeted opposing removal with card draw. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost ramp and scry permanents, establishing Elrond, and converting scry effects into massive board presence. When Elrond, Master of Healing combines with an ETB-scry permanent like Sylvan Anthem, Season of Growth, or Elrond, Lord of Rivendell and a counter-triggered token producer such as Scurry Oak, Herd Baloth, or Basking Broodscale, it forms an infinite loop of tokens and +1/+1 counters. Even without the full loop, cards like Haldir, Lórien Lieutenant, Emil, Vastlands Roamer, and Elvish Mariner provide overwhelming combat pressure and evasion. The deck trades heavy interactive disruption for consistent scry-based card filtering and creature scaling.
