Commander: Norman Osborn // Green Goblin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Norman Osborn // Green Goblin is a Grixis discard-and-recursion deck. The front side is cheap evasive card filtering; the deck is built around flipping to Green Goblin, whose cost reduction and mayhem ability turn every nonland card discarded this turn into a castable spell. The primary plan is to chain loot effects and flashback/mayhem spells, triggering discard payoffs like Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Brallin, and Coruscation Mage, and eventually finishing with Aetherflux Reservoir. Secondary lines include Rise of the Dark Realms reanimation and commander damage from the transformed Green Goblin. The commander is both the enabler and the engine, so protecting the transform is essential.
