Deck overview

This is a Boros equipment-voltron deck built around Lightning, Army of One and his Stagger damage-doubling trigger. The plan is to cast Lightning, suit him up with cheap protection and damage multipliers, make him unblockable, then use a single turn of doubled and extra combat steps to close out 21 commander damage. Embercleave, Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor, Genji Glove, and Fireshrieker are the primary damage engines, while Stoneforge Mystic, Enlightened Tutor, Fighter Class, and Sunforger find the exact piece. The deck has no infinite combos; its inevitability comes from the persistence of Equipment through creature wipes and recursion like Forge Anew and Mantle of the Ancients. Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreads damage to the rest of the pod, and Chandra's Ignition can act as a one-shot multiplayer finisher. Its main vulnerability is that the entire game plan routes through one legendary creature and a critical mass of artifacts.
