Deck overview

Wick, the Whorled Mind is a Grixis Rat tribal deck built around turning every Rat enter into +1/+1 counters on a single Snail token. The primary plan is to flood the battlefield with Rat tokens, let Wick grow the Snail, then sacrifice it for a one-shot burn plus a huge draw. Marrow-Gnawer acts as the hidden commander; it multiplies a small swarm into a critical mass of Wick triggers. Secondary paths are an aggressive Shared Animosity and Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm finish, plus grindy recursion with Revenge of the Rats. The deck aims to close with a large Plague of Vermin turn, using the paid life to make the Snail lethal.
