Deck overview

This Azorius lifegain deck, helmed by Hope Estheim, aims to generate incremental life advantages through a dense suite of ETB lifegain triggers and repeatable payoffs. The primary win condition is Test of Endurance, which wins the game at the beginning of your upkeep if you have 50 or more life. The deck supports this with a massive token generation package (Angelic Accord, Resplendent Angel, Valkyrie Harbinger) and anthem effects (Righteous Valkyrie, Leyline of Hope) that turn life gain into a combat threat. Hope Estheim herself provides a secondary mill win condition, but the deck functions perfectly well without her. The strategy is to establish early lifegain engines, draw cards off triggers (Dawn of Hope, The Gaffer), and protect the life total with a robust interaction suite including counterspells, removal, and board wipes. The deck is resilient to disruption thanks to multiple recursion engines (Sun Titan, Abiding Grace, Cleric Class) and can rebuild quickly after wipes.
