Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis burn and cascade storm deck helmed by Abaddon the Despoiler. It accelerates through 2-CMC mana rocks on early turns while establishing group damage engines such as Thermo-Alchemist, Creeping Bloodsucker, and Sanctum of Stone Fangs. Once Abaddon hits the battlefield, any life lost by opponents unlocks cascade for spells cast from hand. The deck converts this mechanic into explosive multi-spell turns, cascading into mana positive pieces like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Jeska's Will, while exile payoffs like Passionate Archaeologist and Keeper of Secrets turn every free spell into massive direct damage. High-impact finishers such as Blood for the Blood God! and Call Forth the Tempest clear opposing boards while wiping out enemy life totals, supported by efficient interaction like Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick.
