Deck overview

This mono-white midrange deck combines Angel tribal synergies with a dedicated lifegain subtheme, helmed by Gisela, the Broken Blade. The deck accelerates early through artifacts and cost-reducers like Pearl Medallion and Giada, Font of Hope, deploying efficient flying beaters that trigger life buffers. Its premier midgame payoff is casting Bruna, the Fading Light to reanimate a key creature and meld with Gisela into Brisela, Voice of Nightmares. Brisela locks out low-cost spells, protecting the board from cheap spot removal while dealing heavy aerial damage. Backup win conditions include team-wide buffs from Archangel of Thune and Righteous Valkyrie, alternate player-elimination triggers from Angel of Destiny, and asymmetrical board wipes from Ajani, Strength of the Pride. While the deck features strong late-game resiliency and high creature quality, its reliance on sorcery-speed combat and higher-cost spells leaves it vulnerable to early combo decks and heavy mass removal.
