Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie aristocrats and combo engine commanded by The Ghoul, Gunslinger. The strategy focuses on establishing early Zombie board presence, cycling through cards with draw engines like Undead Augur and Skullclamp, and leveraging graveyard recursion to overwhelm opponents. The Ghoul, Gunslinger converts Zombie deaths into Treasure tokens and rad counters when targeting yourself, fueling mana acceleration and self-mill. The primary route to victory relies on looping Gravecrawler with a free sacrifice outlet such as Carrion Feeder or Warren Soultrader, generating infinite Treasures and triggering aristocrat drain pieces like Plague Belcher, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Vengeful Dead. As a compact backup win condition, the deck features the classic two-card infinite combo of Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion. With efficient removal, asymmetric board suppression from Noxious Ghoul, and resilient graveyard recovery, the deck consistently threatens game-ending turns around Turn 5 while rebounding quickly from opposing disruption.
