Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed competitive Commander deck built around Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. It leverages explosive mana acceleration and efficient tutors to deploy its commander on Turn 1 or 2. Once on the battlefield, any effect that causes an opponent to lose exactly 1 life triggers Ob Nixilis to grow and generate impulsive card advantage. The deck capitalizes on this engine through compact infinite combos, most notably Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute, which creates an infinite 1-damage loop to defeat all opponents immediately. Backup routes include the classic Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame line, Agatha's Soul Cauldron with Walking Ballista, and mass card advantage via Ad Nauseam or Underworld Breach. Free and single-mana protection spells defend the combo window, while draw-punishing creatures provide steady card flow and board pressure.
