EOT, My Turn. by BlindElk

Format: Commander

Commander: Chromium, the Mutable

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is an Esper control-combo deck helmed by Chromium, the Mutable, but the commander is a luxury rather than the engine. The primary plan is to resolve Thassa's Oracle and exile the library with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact for an immediate win. The deck supports that compact line with an elite interaction suite: Force of Will, Force of Negation, Pact of Negation, Counterspell, and Mana Drain are backed by card-advantage engines like Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Necropotence, and The One Ring. Fast mana in Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Grim Monolith allows tutors to come down ahead of curve. Chromium, the Mutable serves as an uncounterable 7/7 flash flyer and a discard outlet, providing a resilient beatdown fallback alongside Teferi, Hero of Dominaria, Jace, the Mind Sculptor, and The Wandering Emperor.
