Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact-token midrange strategy commanded by Aerid Konstrari. It focuses on generating a high volume of artifact tokens—including Heartwood tokens, Treasures, Powerstones, and Clones—to accelerate mana, fuel artifact-scaling abilities, and trigger potent direct-damage effects. In the early game, cheap ramp artifacts and artifact lands establish an accelerated mana base, enabling a Turn 3 or Turn 4 deployment of Aerid. Once on board, the deck compounds its advantage using token multipliers like Second Harvest and Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, alongside scaling draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Idol of Oblivion. The endgame is explosive, leveraging massive power scaling from Aerid Konstrari, Craterclaw Colossus, and Hellkite Igniter, or table-wide direct burn via Ingenious Artillerist, Reckless Fireweaver, and Chandra's Ignition. Solid protection spells ensure key pieces survive long enough to close the game rapidly around Turn 7.
