Betor, Life and Death by BeardedBeowolf

Format: Commander

Commander: Betor, Ancestor's Voice

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Betor, Ancestor's Voice leads an Abzan strategy that converts life total changes into board presence and graveyard recursion. Betor buffs your creatures at your end step based on life gained and returns fallen creatures to play based on life lost that turn. The deck uses life payments, pain lands, and draw engines to fuel both triggers naturally. While Betor builds overwhelming board states, the primary path to victory relies on compact combos. You win by pairing Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Enduring Tenacity for an infinite drain loop, growing an infinite army with Archangel of Thune and Spike Feeder, or storming out with Bolas's Citadel and Sensei's Divining Top.
