Brenard's Banana Bread by ssteeb

Format: Commander

Commander: Brenard, Ginger Sculptor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Brenard, Ginger Sculptor leads a Bant Food and Golem deck that wins by going wide. Brenard gives Foods and Golems +2/+2 and trample and replaces each nontoken creature that dies with a 1/1 Food Golem copy, so Splicers and value creatures become recurring bodies. Token doublers (Anointed Procession, Parallel Lives, Adrix and Nev) and tripler Ojer Taq plus Panharmonicon multiply Splicer Golems and Brenard triggers. The main win is combat with many 5/5 or larger Golems, often doubled by Second Harvest or Masterful Replication. Ashnod's Altar with Brenard and Eternal Scourge can make infinite mana with a doubler, but the deck has no mana outlet and must still win through combat.
