Deck overview

The deck's central plan is to exploit the oversized-library rule on Whtz, the Bibliophile and win with Battle of Wits. Whtz, the Bibliophile is more useful here as a repeatable free draw engine than as a combat creature. The deck uses many enchantment tutors, selection spells, draw engines, and recursion effects to find Battle of Wits and keep its library above 200 cards. Its interaction suite is broad: countermagic, creature removal, sweepers, protection, and combat restrictions all help defend the one-turn window before the upkeep win. In ordinary play, however, the large deck makes joint access to the commander, Battle of Wits, mana, and protection inconsistent. The realistic primary assembly is around turn 8, followed by a turn 9 upkeep win if Battle of Wits survives. Alternate plans include Approach of the Second Sun, Triskaidekaphile, and extra-turn value, but these are slower and less reliable.
