Deck overview

This is an Esper "Aura theft" deck helmed by Eriette, the Beguiler. The primary game plan combines a dense aura package with the commander's triggered ability to steal opponent's permanents by attaching auras to them. The deck also leverages enchantress-style card draw (Sram, Senior Edificer, Mesa Enchantress, Kor Spiritdancer) and cost reducers (Starfield Mystic, Killian, Ink Duelist) to chain auras rapidly. Wins come from overwhelming combat with stolen creatures, commander damage from an increasingly large All That Glitters or Eldrazi Conscription, or the passive drain of Eriette of the Charmed Apple and Grim Guardian. The deck rebuilds via mass recursion like Replenish and Redress Fate and uses Winds of Rath as a one-sided wipe.
