Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir tempo-burn strategy commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary plan uses cheap, evasive 0- and 1-mana creatures to activate Yuriko's Commander Ninjutsu on Turn 2. Once in play, Yuriko draws cards while burning each opponent for damage equal to the revealed card's mana value whenever a Ninja deals combat damage. The deck manipulates the top of the library with cards like Brainstorm, Scroll Rack, and Lim-Dûl's Vault to stack massive-cost spells like Shadow of Mortality (15 damage) and Temporal Trespass (11 damage), draining the entire table simultaneously. A lean suite of free and 1-mana counterspells and removal defends the board, while Commander Ninjutsu bypasses the commander tax to keep the engine running through removal.
