Commander: Kibo, Uktabi Prince

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kibo, Uktabi Prince commands an aggressive Gruul tribal deck that weaponizes artifact destruction into overwhelming combat damage. The primary strategy revolves around deploying low-cost Apes and Monkeys, using Kibo to gift opponents Banana artifact tokens, and subsequently destroying those tokens en masse. Each destroyed artifact triggers Kibo to place plus-one-plus-one counters across your entire primate army. Accelerators like Hardened Scales and Branching Evolution amplify these counters, turning small utility creatures into massive threats. The deck finishes games through wide, evasive combat enabled by trample grantors like Kodama of the West Tree, or by resolving sweeping destruction spells like overloaded Vandalblast and Meltdown to instantly eliminate all three opponents.
