Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is built around The Master, Multiplied, leveraging its unique static abilities to exploit myriad and temporary copy effects. The Master bypasses the legend rule for creature tokens and prevents your triggered abilities from sacrificing or exiling your tokens at end of combat or turn. This turns transient token generators such as myriad, Blade of Selves, Heat Shimmer, and Feldon of the Third Path into permanent army builders. The primary game plan focuses on ramping to 6 mana, deploying The Master, and attacking to exponentially duplicate the commander each turn cycle. The deck also includes an un-tutored two-card infinite combo with Dualcaster Mage and Heat Shimmer as an alternate instant win. While the deck boasts immense snowball potential once The Master attacks, its heavy reliance on a 6-mana commander and lack of countermagic make it vulnerable to well-timed spot removal and sweepers.
