Angelic Phyrexia by user5323423

Format: Commander

Commander: Liesa, Forgotten Archangel

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Liesa, Forgotten Archangel leads an Orzhov midrange deck that combines a lifegain Angel beatdown plan with compact drain combos. Early creatures such as Dazzling Angel and Youthful Valkyrie develop the board and trigger life-gain draw engines. Liesa then turns every creature death into either a free return to hand or an exile for opponents, making sacrifice outlets and board fights asymmetric. The primary kill is Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Marauding Blight-Priest, started by any lifegain trigger. Secondary lines include a Sun Titan/Necrogen Communion recursion engine, an infect package with Skithiryx and Mites, and a tutor-backed Approach of the Second Sun. The commander is a value engine, not a strict combo enabler, and the deck can pivot without her.
