Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Token Polymorph archetype led by Jace, Multiverse Architect. By omitting low-mana utility creatures entirely from the 99, the deck guarantees that every Polymorph trigger hits a massive, high-impact creature or planeswalker. Early turns focus on accelerating mana via 2-mana rocks and generating creature tokens using noncreature permanents such as Bitterblossom, Skrelv's Hive, and Black Market Connections. On Turn 4, casting Jace allows immediate activation of his −3 ability to exile a token and cheat a devastating bomb onto the battlefield, such as Toxrill, the Corrosive, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, or Hullbreaker Horror. The deck also contains an infinite hasty creature combo between Astral Dragon and Cursed Mirror. Supported by dense 1-to-2 mana countermagic, premium spot removal, and defensive spells like Flawless Maneuver and Dawn's Truce, the deck controls the table and closes games reliably by Turn 6.
