1 Mana Black by M4Sopmod

Format: Commander

Commander: Ashnod, Flesh Mechanist

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-black sacrifice-value deck helmed by Ashnod, Flesh Mechanist. The core plan is to deploy a swarm of cheap creatures (mostly 1-drops), attack with Ashnod to create Powerstone tokens by sacrificing another creature, and then use those tokens for mana or additional sacrifice fodder. The deck grinds out incremental advantage through death-trigger effects (Serrated Scorpion, Nested Shambler, Festering Goblin), recursion (Gravecrawler, Cult Conscript, Persistent Specimen), and a handful of repeatable draw engines. The primary win condition is incremental life loss via Serrated Scorpion and Engine Rat, with The Millennium Calendar as a slow alternate. The deck has no infinite combos and relies on attrition to out-value opponents.
