Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Dragon tribal midrange deck commanded by The Ur-Dragon. Its primary strategy focuses on deploying efficient early ramp and cost-reducers to leverage the commander's Eminence ability, accelerating formidable Dragons ahead of curve. By Turns 4 and 5, it transitions into board development using haste enablers like Temur Ascendancy and Dragon Tempest alongside card draw engines like Elemental Bond. The deck establishes massive aerial pressure through bombs such as Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Scourge of Valkas, or by cheating the commander early with Hellkite Courser. While it possesses immense combat damage output and solid reactive spot removal, it lacks dedicated board-protection spells, making it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers. It consistently threatens lethal table-wide damage across Turns 6 and 7 through evasive flying beats.
