Deck overview

This Simic deck leverages the partner pairing of Pir, Imaginative Rascal and Toothy, Imaginary Friend to convert card draw into rapid board growth and card velocity. By using low-cost flicker and blink spells on Toothy, the deck triggers its leaves-the-battlefield ability to draw an enormous number of cards. Because Pir adds an extra counter whenever counters are placed, each card drawn puts two +1/+1 counters onto the newly re-entered Toothy, creating exponential growth. The deck transitions this card advantage directly into a same-turn victory by drawing its entire library and resolving Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. Backup routes utilize massive combat damage via counter doublers like Deepglow Skate and Court of Garenbrig or an alternate exile combo with Leveler. Supported by dense 1–2 CMC ramp, efficient countermagic, and flexible interaction, the deck operates with high consistency and resilience.
