Deck overview

Sky High Airfare is an aggressive Azorius typal stax deck helmed by Kastral, the Windcrested. The game plan deploys low-cost evasive Birds and mana reducers on early turns, bringing down Kastral on Turn 4 to immediately generate value through combat damage triggers. On Turn 5, the flock spreads damage across all opponents, growing in size with +1/+1 counters, reanimating fallen creatures, and drawing cards. Asymmetric stax pieces like Magus of the Moat, Archon of Emeria, and Dovescape shut down opposing ground assaults, combo attempts, and noncreature spells while leaving the flying army unaffected. Premium free and low-cost protection spells such as Clever Concealment, Flawless Maneuver, and Flare of Fortitude guard the flock against sweepers, allowing the deck to close out the game with lethal aerial combat around Turn 7.
