Cloud Strikes Again by againstthestatic

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER is an equipment-voltron commander whose attack trigger converts hit power into card draw and Treasures. The primary plan is to cast Cloud with a cheap power-setting Equipment such as Colossus Hammer or Wrecking Ball Arm, then use double-strike and extra-combat effects to kill one opponent per combat. Cloud, Midgar Mercenary acts as a hidden commander, fetching key Equipment and doubling triggers. Backup paths use Barret's Rebel tokens, Sephiroth's base-7/5 anthem, and damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation. The strategy is fast, attack-oriented, and moderately reliant on Cloud staying in play; it can pivot to other legends when he is taxed.
