Dack by Psyga315

Format: Commander

Commander: Mizzix of the Izmagnus

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck uses Mizzix of the Izmagnus to drastically reduce the cost of high-impact instant and sorcery spells. By casting spells with escalating mana values, Mizzix accumulates experience counters, allowing expensive card draw, ritual mana, and token producers to be cast for minimal colored pips. The primary win condition revolves around storming off in a single explosive turn using rituals like Mana Geyser and Jeska's Will alongside Magecraft engines. From there, the deck converts massive spell velocity into game-winning burn via Guttersnipe and Zaffai, Thunder Conductor, or overwhelms opponents with massive token armies generated by Rootha, Mastering the Moment, and Eris, Roar of the Storm.
