fire lord azula by badazmtg

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula leads a fast Grixis spell-slinging combo deck capable of explosive mana generation and instant-speed spell copying. Azula generates two red mana and doubles every spell cast while attacking, accelerating storm counts and doubling value spells. However, the deck can easily win without the commander by executing compact two-card win conditions. Primary victory paths center on Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, alongside Underworld Breach recursion loops utilizing Brain Freeze and Lotus Petal. Backed by abundant low-cost interaction, free counterspells, and efficient tutors, the deck smoothly transitions from early mana acceleration into decisive combo turns.
