Deck overview

This mono-white deck leverages a classic 'Soul Sisters' shell led by Liliana the Faultless. The deck focuses on turning incremental lifegain into substantial board presence, massive card draw, and towering combat threats. Early turns are spent deploying low-cost creatures that gain life on creature entry, such as the commander, Soul Warden, and Guide of Souls. These triggers fuel powerful midgame payoffs like Voice of the Blessed, Resplendent Angel, and Archangel of Thune, steadily generating Angel tokens and team-wide +1/+1 counters. Card velocity is maintained through specialized draw permanents including Tocasia's Welcome, Welcoming Vampire, and The Gaffer. The commander provides a steady defensive safety valve by granting hexproof on demand, while spells like Dawn's Truce and Flare of Fortitude shield against board wipes. The deck concludes games by overwhelming opponents with large flying creatures or using Aetherflux Reservoir for decisive burst damage.
