Deck overview

This mono-black deck is led by Ghoulcaller Gisa and centers on overwhelming opponents with an expanding army of Zombie tokens and tribal aristocrat synergies. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana rocks and utility Zombies like Cryptbreaker and Diregraf Colossus. In the mid-game, Ghoulcaller Gisa converts high-power creatures into swarms of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Tribal lords such as Death Baron, Cemetery Reaper, and Undead Warchief grant significant stat boosts and evasion, while aristocrat payoffs like Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel drain opponent life totals whenever creatures enter or die. Although the deck boasts strong graveyard recursion and high creature synergy, its reliance on combat damage and lack of instant-speed protection or artifact removal leave it vulnerable to board wipes and non-creature combo strategies.
