Deck overview

This Simic deck is built around Zimone, Mystery Unraveler, converting landfall triggers into free, high-impact permanent cheats. By utilizing an extensive package of early ramp and extra land-drop enablers, the deck quickly deploys Zimone on Turn 3 or 4. The first landfall trigger each turn manifests dread, placing a card face down as a 2/2 creature, while subsequent triggers turn those face-down permanents face up regardless of their mana cost. This enables early deployment of massive bombs such as Blightsteel Colossus, Ancient Silver Dragon, and Omnipresence ahead of schedule. Backed by draw engines like Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait and token generators like Scute Swarm, the deck applies overwhelming board pressure. It also packs a three-piece infinite landfall loop using Retreat to Coralhelm, Llanowar Scout, and Simic Growth Chamber to secure decisive wins.
