Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The game plan revolves around casting cheap noncreature spells to grow Vivi, generate massive bursts of colored mana, and burn the entire table. By attaching Auras like Curiosity or Ophidian Eye to Vivi, every noncreature spell triggers three card draws (one per opponent damaged), creating a self-sustaining loop through the deck. Mana rituals, cost reducers like Stormcatch Mentor, and Storm-Kiln Artist supply the mana required to maintain momentum. The deck can also generate infinite mana through a clean two-card combo with Quicksilver Elemental, enabling lethal burn via Comet Storm or repeated storm triggers. A dense interaction suite of efficient 1-to-2 mana counterspells and bounce spells protects the engine while disrupting opposing strategies.
