Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Gruul Landfall strategy commanded by Omnath, Locus of Rage. It leverages efficient early ramp, additional land-drop enablers, and graveyard land recursion to establish an explosive mana foundation. Once Omnath enters the battlefield on turn 4, every land drop creates a 5/5 Elemental token. The deck quickly escalates this board into a lethal threat on turn 5 using mass landfall spells like Scapeshift, Awaken the Woods, and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods. It converts these tokens into table-wide wins through trampling combat damage or direct burn from Omnath death triggers, Terror of the Peaks, and Purphoros, God of the Forge. Robust protective spells like Sylvan Safekeeper and Deflecting Swat defend the board, while secondary engines like Titania, Protector of Argoth and Field of the Dead ensure the deck functions smoothly even without its commander.
