Gave My X the Hydra by NickofTime

Format: Commander

Commander: Zimone, Infinite Analyst

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Simic +1/+1 counter and X-spell deck built around Zimone, Infinite Analyst. The commander discounts a single X spell per turn and grows by two counters each time, turning inexpensive X cards into huge Hydras, Fractal tokens, and card draw. The deck ramps lands, then chains X spells such as Hydroid Krasis, Lattice Library, and Primo, the Unbounded, while Tanazir Quandrix and Kalonian Hydra double counters for a single overwhelming combat. Secondary lines use interaction and recursion via Quandrix Command. There is no hidden commander; the deck is constructed almost entirely to maximize Zimone's discount and counter-generating trigger.
