Deck overview

Yuna, Grand Summoner leads a Bant counter deck that converts creature deployment into extra +1/+1 counters and uses those counters as mana, card-flow, combat, and protection resources. The strongest normal line is to cast Yuna, Grand Summoner, then use her tap ability to help deploy a creature such as Fathom Mage, Gyre Sage, or Rikku, Resourceful Guardian. Cards including Hardened Scales, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, Tromell, Seymour's Butler, and The Earth Crystal amplify the counter plan. Bred for the Hunt, Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar, and Tidus, Yuna's Guardian provide combat-based flow, while Inspiring Call protects and refills a developed board. The deck has respectable removal and some countermagic, but its access is mostly natural, its mana is only moderately accelerated, and its finish is combat-based without a compact kill. It is a functional general-power deck rather than a cEDH construction.
